I sometimes get two of the same file.whatever i do to one file is done to the
other. The second file has the same name then a ":2".the original file gets a
":1".I can't seem to get rid of the mirror image. When i open it ,there is
only the one file, but once opened and you hit the window select pull down
menue it shows two files.

The two views are two different windows created by someone who went to
Window>New Window.

Close one of the windows and save the workbook.
