How do i get Fixccs.exe?

Hi,
I have updated to sp2 and since then my iPod is not visible in my computer
or in the device manager, i have looked in various sites and they suggest
getting Fixccs.exe i don't know where i can get it or if it will fix my
problem for sure, can you guys help, i am not real good with complicated
things so please keep it simple!

If your PC has been updated lately, you should have a copy under:
C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download
Go to: Start>Search>Files and Folders>type Fixccs.exe and click Search.

Hi,
I have found a copy of it on my pc but when i click on it i just get a small
black screen come up for a few seconds then it dissapears!
I have tried to right click and open but it does the same, i am baffled!
What do i do?

Try - Start>All Programs>Accessories>Command Prompt
Now type at the blinking cursor - Fixccs.exe and press Enter. Did that work?

It came up with 'Fixccs.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external
command,
operable program or batch file.
