How do I duplicate an appointment in Outlook?

In the past I have been able to Copy and existing appointment and Paste it on
another day. I can't seem to do that now and I am wondering if maybe a
setting was changed. Right now the only advice I get is to make the
appointment reoccurring, which I do not want to do.

Thanks for responding Sue. What you suggested I do only moves the
appointment, as far as I can tell. I would like to copy one appointment and
be able to paste it at different times on different days. Do you know how I
would do that?

Thank you.

Dragging the appointment would move it. But what I suggested is that you hold
down the Ctrl key while you drag. That creates a copy and moves the copy. You
can then adjust the time on the copy.

You should also be able to select an appointment and use the Edit | Copy
command to copy, then select a time slot in the calendar and choose Edit |
Paste.
