This is a basic FrontPage Database feature, but be sure and backup your web
before you start playing with it. As a precaution, I like to publish my
whole web to a new web on my on computer before I take on a new process such
as this.
Assumming that you have a database on your web and a database connection
established, open your web in FrontPage and click "File", "New". You will
see a link on the right side of the page that says Database Interface Wizard.
Click that and check the box that says " Add to current website".
This will start the Database Wizard. follow the instructions. You will have
to tell it which database connection to use, and where it is, then you will
have several other options to choose and finally click "Finish". It will
create the page linked to your database just like the one you saw on the
other site.
Note: don't create a password when asked it you want to. You can do that
later is necessary.
The process creats a folder in your website that is named
"database_interface" something or other. If it doesn't work the first time,
to start over just delete that folder and start over at "File", "New" etc.
It only takes a few minutes to create another one.
Don't get discouraged if you don't get it the first or second time. Keep
trying and experimenting. It is well worth the effort.
