How do I display a macro using text instead of a button. Unlike in
Word 2003, I do not see any option for a text button in Word 2007
Word 2007 doesn't provide any way to put text or custom buttons on the Quick
Access Toolbar. All you get is the selection of icons in the Customize >
Modify dialog (and those are available only for macros, not for any built-in
commands). We hope this might change in the next version, but there are no
assurances.
If you have custom toolbars from a previous Word 2003 template, or if you
still have 2003 to work with, you can add those toolbars to Word 2007 where
they'll appear on an Add-Ins tab. See
http://www.gmayor.com/Toolbars_in_word_2007.htm.
Your best choice for being able to get close to what you want is to learn
how to customize the ribbon by adding your own groups and controls. Read the
tutorial at

follow-up articles at
http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/Ribbon_Images_Labels_Part1.htm and
