How do I correct position of page numbers in Table of Contents

The page numbers in the table of contents created by Word are aligned
differently on the contents page so that the numbers appear jumbled. The page
numbers from a level 2 sub-head are in a different position from the level 3
sub-head. How do I fix this

The tab stops for number position are set at the right margin dynamically
when the TOC is first generated but it is quite possible and sometimes all
too easy to get the tab stops moved (the fact that TOC styles are set to
update automatically doesn't help in this regard). You'll need to either
drag the tab stop markers on the ruler or use the Format | Tabs dialog to
reset them to the correct location. In this case, however, it is an
advantage to you that the style updates automatically, as it will suffice to
move the tab in a single entry at any TOC level.

This works, it also helps you to customize TOC style to meet restrictions on
page sizes.
