How do I configure my Outlook 2007 client NOT to send secure outbound messages?

Gurus,

I work for a small company. It appears Outlook 2007 is encrypting some of
my outgoing messages as some external users say they cannot read them. How
do I configure my Outlook 2007 client NOT to send secure outbound messages?

Outlook cannot encrypt outgoing messages on its own. It must be told to do
so. Moreover, it cannot encrypt messages unless the recipient has a public
key that you've added to their contact record.

Since outlook can't encrypt them without your telling it to, I'm guessing
you are using RTF message format and the recipients are not using outlook...
this will cause problems with attachments. Use HTML or plain text instead.
