how do i change a windows BMP file to a jpeg file

trying to change the file type on screenshots of my game character so i can
post them on my gaming guilds website, the pictures are saved to my computer
in BMP format and website wants them to be Jpeg

Why are you posting in this news group? This is a Microsoft Access
group. Anyway, open your bmp files with MSPAINT (Start-Program Files -
Accessories - Paint). Then go File-> Save as and change the file
extension to JPG.
