How do I add a horizontal scroll bar to the Mail Folders pane?

Work just upgraded us to Office 2003. The horizontal scroll bar is gone from
the Outlook Mail Folders pane. (This is a major pain!!!) Any suggestions on
how I might get that scroll bar to reappear?
