Horizontal scroll bar in messages pane

Jean-Pierre

The message headers pane contains several columns, such as "Subject", "From",
"To", "Date sent", etc. The length of the line is larger than the witdth of the
pane. So I expected to have a horizontal scroll bar, such as in Outlook Express.

There is none and I cannot find in the "HELP" a way of being able to read
whatever is at the right of the pane border. The only way is to temporarily
reduce the width of one or more column(s), which is quite cumbersome.

Is it possible to require an horizontal scroll bars (The vertical doe exist !)
and how can I do this ?

Thank you in advance for your advice.

What version of Outlook are you talking about? Note that hovering on it will
display its full contents in a tooltip.

Sorry, I forgot to mention it.

OUTLOOK 2002 - SP3
OS = WINDOWS 2000 - SP4

Yes, I noticed the tooltip, but scrolling bar is more convenient (I feel so !).
