How careful do I have to be messing with FP 2003?

I do all my webwork in FP 2002, the old one.

Now I've got the beta of FP2003 and I'm worried about having it on my
system, like it might somehow screw up my webs, or insert stuff I can't read
with teh std FP2002 if 2003 bombs out later.

should i be worried about this? or is it more or less safe just to go ahead
and use FP2003 as if it were a real product?

Also, is there a special newsgroup for people messing with FP 2003?

It is never fully safe to rely on a BETA for production work

You could install the BETA (custom separate location) and leave FP2002 on your system, but that combination is not fully supported
by the BETA
And if you use any of the new FP2003 features (like dynamic templates) , FP2002 may not be able to handle them

IMHO you always take a risk w/ a BETA on a production machine, so keep lots of backups and restore points

Post your FP2003 Q here w/ FP2003 in the subject
