How Can You Do This In Vista?

you can try 2 versions of Linux that include "non opensource" codecs for
audio and video..
there are

MINT ( based on ubuntu but with all the goodies installed)
PCLINUXOS 2007, in fact this one can handle far more media types out of the
box than vista can! lol

you can find these at www.distrowatch.com and please.. dont advertise you
total ignorance so much...

Sorry, Bozo Bin cap'n , I have used all the POS linux OS's ... they all just
suck in different ways.
Without drivers....and hardware is still quite lacking linux drivers...linux
will remain useless to most people.
Microsoft makes stuff that works.
Linux makes the user work...at making linux work.
You tho, you might like linux...since you got nothing better to do than hunt
for stupid articles and idiotic fourth party software.

Not true. The computer illiterates are better with Vista. People with
experience of earlier Windows are more likely to struggle because of the
differences. However, one has to wonder how much more difficult double
clicking an icon is in Vista compared to XP!!

I don't use the Vista menu. I immediately change to classic and resort the
groups. But it really should not be that hard to find icons. Have they
changed that much?
