How can I use all the buttons of my trackball?

I recently purchased a Kinsington trackball
(http://www.clubic.com/photo/00111749.jpg), but there's no driver for
Windows XP x64. I'd like to use the 4 buttons around the ball, especially
the top-left and top-right. I'd like to map the following events this way:

- On click on top-left button: Shortcut to "File > Close" on the current
window
- On click on top-right button: double-click

Do you know a way to do this? Maybe there's an application that detects
the buttons signals and allows you to assign events to them...
Thanks,

Your best bet is hunting down some other mouse driver that
has the support you need. Your buttons should be assignable
just as if they were the buttons on many other mice, in that
other device's driver.

I see... Do you know a trackball that has a driver for WinXP x64?

Not offhand but I would investigate some of the larger
manufacturers like Logitech and MS, and not just look for
trackballs but mice too.
