How can I stop repeatint information from appearing in my report

I am tracking Clearances for Foster Parents & their families.

My queries work great (thanks, by the way to those that helped!!). I am now
trying to create a report. Everything works great EXCEPT for the fact that I
have repeating data appearing.

I have the Foster Parent (FP) info and the Spousal information in the Header
section of my report. In the DETAIL section I have the REsidents int he home
(there can be many residents to one Foster Parent).

Here is the problem. Becaue the REsident info is relating to BOTH the Spouse
and FP info it is repeating TWICE. But if I put the Spousal info in the
detail section of the report then the spouse repeats for each resident.

Is there a way around this??

The desired outcome is to NOT have the Residents information in the detail
section repeat.....(currently as mentioned, it is repeating one per the
Foster PArent and one for the Spouse).

What I meant is that you describe the various scenarios and the
desired choice for output in each case. When you have expressed
sufficient scenarios with the resultant outcome in each case then you
will have expressed the desired outcome.

Your statement"
The desired outcome is to NOT have the Residents information in the
detail section repeat

is the equivalent of saying "The A train does not leave from the B
terminal".


You have to describe the universe of possible inputs (residences of
various persons) and describe how to determine which one to display.
