How do I get rid of multiples on my report?

I have a report that details when clearances are due for Foster Parents and
their household. (MEaning I can have ONE parent with numberous residents).

When I make a report, the residents come up anywhere from 1-9 times!! WHy is
this happening?

I have grouped them by Office, then have the Foster Parent in the Header,
with the Detail section having the resident information.

Any help is MUCH appreciated.

There should be a thing in your properties window of the text box that says
"hide duplicates". Click "Yes" and you should be good to go...

Hope that helps.

Which header: Page or Report? Actually I wouldn't think that the parent would
be in either header and should be in the detail with proper sorting and
grouping.

Show us the SQL for the query driving the report. There might be a problem
with it. Open the query in design view. Next go to View, SQL View and copy
and past it here. Information on primary keys and relationships would be a
nice touch too.
