How can I restore a deleted folder? It is not under Deleted Items

I deleted an entire email folder by mistake, thinking that only an individual
email was highlighted. This has happened to several other people I know, in
both Outlook and OE.

Is there any way to restore this? I have found where the .dbx file is saved
and made a copy, but can't seem to import it or open it via Outlook.

Please, anyone... can you help?
