How can I reposition office clipboard

G

Guest

I am using Excel 2003. When in use, my office clipboard used to be
superimposed on the right hand side of the page. Somehow I have moved it, it
is now across the top of the page. How can I move it back?

Put the mouse cursor on the "4 gray dots" on the left edge of it, so it
turns into a "Move window" cursor, left-click and drag to desired location.

Hi Bob I,
Thanks or that, it worked. Not being able to reposition it has been driving
me crazy.
I could not find the answer in the help menu, or in Excel for dummies.
Thanks again

You're welcome, please notice that all the "Toolbars" have those "4
dots", and you may place them anywhere you want or "float" them if desired.

around, is there a way to fix it straith there so it dose not move
: just like old 2003.

First off, since you say "just like old 2003", I am assuming you are using
XL2007. Second, by "moving around", do you mean the Office Clipboard is on
screen in its own window? If so, and if you want it to be docked on the
right-hand side of Excel's window border, then click in the title bar area
of the Office Clipboard window (when you click the left mouse button, the
cursor symbol turns to 4 arrowheads) and drag the window to the right-hand
border of the Excel window... you have to drag it until the cursor (not the
window you are dragging) lines up with Excel's right-hand border... as soon
as you have dragged it far enough, the Office Clipboard will snap into
place.
