How to turn off clipboard in Excel 2003

Hi

Just want to know how to permanently turn off the Clipboard in Excel 2003. Each time you copy more than two items, the clipboard appears on the right hand side of the screen. This becomes very annoying. I de-select "Show Office Clipboard Automatically" from the options, but the next time I log in it appears again

I have tried Microsoft support KB 207438, but this doesn't seem to work for Excel 2003, (the article referes to Office 2000)

Any assistance in this area would be greatly appreciated

You can follow the instructions in MSKB article 207438, but substitute
11.0 for 9.0
