I am working in a PowerPoint 2003 presentation that was created by someone
else. The presentation has a background design. I created a table within
the presentation, and I want the table to have a white background, so it will
stand out against the background. However, when I highlight the table and
click on "Fill", my table automatically turns into a blue, 3-D monstrosity.
I can't click on "No 3-D" in the drawing toolbar. Help! I just want a
normal, 1-D, white table. I'm guessing there is some kind of pre-set
template, but my company's brilliant tech support was unable to help with
that; they told me to turn the table into a million individual text boxes and
individually change their color and remove the 3-D feature. I refuse to
accept such a time-consuming and stupid solution. What can I do?
