How do I remove default toolbars?

Sebastian

Every time I open PowerPoint a selection of toolbars appears by default.

In addition to "Standard", "Formatting", "Drawing", "Picture" and "Task
Pane" toolbars there are a couple of others. I don't need to have these
additional toolbars and they are consuming the size of the available screen
for the presentation. Thus I have to remove the toolbars every time from
"View- Toolbars".

Do you know how can I decide, which toolbars I would like to appear by
default when I open the PowerPoint?

Thanks.

In PPT 2003, go to View | Toolbars. Check the ones you want. Uncheck the
ones you don't want.

Which version of PowerPoint are you using?
