How can I keep Windows Mail synchronized with Outlook Express?

I have long used Outlook Express with WinXP. I have kept the email
synchronized on different computers by using Laplink to compare and
update the mail folders in Local Settings\Application Data\etc.

I have now begun to use a computer that runs Windows Vista. I have
ported the email files from Outlook Express on computer A to Windows
Mail on computer B. However, I do not know how to keep the email in
the two computers synchronized because I do not see how to compare the
files in Windows Mail with those in Outlook Express and I do not see
how to update the Outlook Express files to coincide with Windows Mail.
The two programs seem to keep their mail attachments in different
formats, which implies that I need a way to import from Windows Mail
to Outlook Express.

You can't do that.
Both programs can leave a copy on the server, but that won't do Sent Items.
Changing to an IMAP account would help. Check with your email provider.

Thanks for replying. Unfortunately, I have five email accounts and
some do not offer IMAP. I also want the messages to be in appropriate
local folders.
