how can I get the calendar to highlight today's date automaticall

How can I get the outlook calendar to automatically highlight todays date?
Also can I get the calendar to highlight the entire date box?

It will only highlight the top of the date - and you need to have the
calendar grid in focus. In most cases Outlook will put the calendar in
focus, but there are a few situations where it keeps the folder list in
focus. Press tab to move to the calendar.
