I recently rebuilt my Athalon XP 2100+ system with 1gig ram because it was
unbearably sluggish. Now not 2 months into the format/new os im finding it
unbearably sluggish again. I'm wondering how do I determine the cause? I
did ctrl-alt del and looked at the system processes and the idle is like at
99% so its not an application or process. What does this leave? MSN
messenger will stay in the offline icon mode and when I click on it the
computer basically locks up for a minute or more. Could it be a networking
issue and how would I track it down?
