Hotmail question

I am not having this problem but my wife is being drive crazy by it. When she
tries to access her hotmail account a window comes up requesting that she
type in numbers and letters so that hotmail knows that she is not a bot or
some kind. Fine. But after she types in the letters and numbers the same
screen comes up with different letters and numbers. After the first screen
there are no red letters to indicate that letters or numbers were typed
incorrectly. She than completes the second set of numbers and letters and a
third screen comes up with more letters and numbers and no red lettering
stating that something was done incorrectly. This goes on ad infinitum. She
can't access her hotmail. I have sent a note to hotmail but have not recieved
anything back so far. I am not having the problem with my hotmail account. I
recently installed Incedimail for her could this have any bearing on why she
is having the problem? Also, does it have anything to do with the cookie
settings in IE? I am also running Spy Doctor, Giant Antispy, Zone Alarm and
Adaware. Could any of these programs be causing this looping of hotmail
windows? Any help on this will be greatly appreciated. My email address is
(e-mail address removed). Thanks

I am also having the same problem...and then some. On my home computer, I
cannot access my HOtmail account. I bring up the screen to log-in, but before
it finishes loading, I get directed to another page stating my cookes aren't
enabled - when in fact they are! This is very frustrating and I am not sure
how to fix it. I have tried several different cookies combos with no success.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Blocking cookies will cause this sort of behavior in Hotmail. I blocked the
cookie for msn.com in IE and wasn't able to get to my Hotmail.

Try gmail?

Jennifer: sounds as though y'alls passport (in the cookie files) is
missing or corrupted. Y'all will need a new password from hotmail, see
if y'all can send MSN an e-mail telling them, or call. They will reset
the password, let y'all know what it is, and then y'all can change it
after successfully signing in.
The problem possibly could happen if y'all deleted all of the cookies
on y'alls computer.

From his spyware and virus infected Windoze box, Shelly F had this to say:
