Disabling the activex in IE seems to solve the problem with Hotmail freezing
but it creates problems with other web pages that require it. Is there a
REG file that could be placed on the desktop that could be run prior to
using Hotmail that would disable activex? The computers I manage are
equipped with security software that restores the OS and applications to its
previous configuration when the computer is restarted. This would return
the computer to the state that would allow activex to run. For security
reasons all users are asked to restart the computer when they are finished
using it.
Thanks for you help.
