Hotfix 828026 - 619Mb in size??!!

When I go Start/Control Panels and click on Add/Remove, I
see that Hotfix 828026 for Windows Media Player is
credited with a file size of 619.00Mb, which is huge!

Also, instead of having the standard Hotfix icon (a
monitor), it has a fox's head which is the icon of
another non-Microsoft program installed on my computer.

When I downloaded and installed 828026, I did so after
switching off everything in the System Configuration
Utility. So, there could not have been any conflicts.

Why has it such a huge size?

How can I fix this?

I don't know what your problem is caused by but, the same hotfix on my
machine is 4.65 Mb's.

remove it with the add/remove program in your control panel and download it
again through your windows update.......Microsoft database says it's only
2.9MB.
