Home page will not remain on default

I am continuing to get the same unwanted home page to pop
up everytime I log into IE6. I can go into properties and
change the home page to default or another wanted page.
However, once I log out and log back in the same unwanted
page pops up. I have also noticed that I am getting
unwanted sites pop up in my "Favorites" link.

This all started at the same time of getting a runtime
error 5 when my computer was booted.

Any suggestions?

You have a home page hijacker on your system download adaware and update
your av software
Check the Symantec site once you know what you have to see if they have a
stand alone cleaner.
You may also have to boot in safe mode to get rid of it!
