Home Page Problems

I recently had a hard disk crash on my desktop computer. I replaced the drive
and then had to reload the origional software for it. It is a Sony Vaio. When
the Internet Explorer was loaded it assigned as the homep page a Sony Vaio
Home Page. I went into Tools and Options to change it to my MSN home page. I
hit APPLY and then try to go to and from the home page. It always reverts
back to the Sony Vaio home page.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

what happens if you go to your desried home page?
and then choose "Use current page"?

okay/save or whatever

You can use HijackThis from http://www.spywareinfo.com to remove home page
hijacks.

You ask at the forum how to interpret the log entries it generates so that
you know which reference(s) to remove.
