Home Page is "gone" - suddenly switched...

My home page has been switched to read: "about:blank" - I have NO viruses (at
least none that my constantly updated Norton's & Spyware Doc could find) and
I can do everything else (sign on, get email, etc.). I am running Windows
XP, with the SP2 (I think that is the correct name) fix - I can change my
home page back to what it is supposed to be in the Internet Options, I apply,
and as soon as I close the menu it reverts back to "about:blank" (without the
comma's). I am hoping it is an easy fix as I am not that comfortable messing
around with the computer....
It is an HP Pavillion.....
