Home Edition vs. Professional

I have always used the Professional version of XP and want to upgrade a
computer at home and was wondering if Home Edition would work just as well.
I have a network at home and need to be able to login to a domain. Can Home
Edition do that? I can't seem to find any information that compares the two
versions. Is there something out there? What bell and whistles does Pro
have that Home Edition doesn't??

Thanks for your help.

Since XP Home cannot join a domain, you'll have to
upgrade to XP Professional.

It's not mentioned on that page, but I think you'll find that Home does not
have some of the backup utilities (e.g. ASR) that are part of Professional.
