Going from XP Home to XP Pro

Hello everyone!
I am using Windows XP Home Edition and need to change to XP Professional
Edition ASAP. Should I purchase the full version XP Pro or just the XP Pro
Upgrade?

It's really up to you.

As long as you have qualifying media (Windows 9x/ME/2000/XP_Home) - you can
use the Windows XP Upgrade CD just like you would a full retail CD.

If you ever want to use it somewhere else (at the same time or move it) - in
either case, full or upgrade - you would need to remove it from its previous
installation OR purchases another license from Microsoft.

The real advantages of the Full CD vs. the Upgrade would be convenience -
not needing the qualifying media around to install it, etc.
