Hmm, anything special to do while installing 64bit software on 64bit

So I have two program folders now, one 86 and one 64. By default,
everything installs to the x86 folder, even if it's 64bit software. So
what's the deal?

For example, I just installed 64bit fire fox and it wanted to install
to the 86 folder so I let it. After I installed it, I opened the task
manager to see it was running in 32bit mode. So how to make stuff run
in 64bit mode?

Thanks in advance guys.
