Hitman.exe encountered problem and needs close???

I am fairly new to the xp world, works great for work, Yet I have a break from school and the job is at a slow period, So I bought Hitman codename 47. Installed the program and I get the message:

hitman.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

AppName: hitman.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: hitman.exe
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 00001042


If anyone has a clue, please clue me in.

Hi jpodmo,

They've released several patches to correct issues with that game:
http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/hitmancodename47/downloads.html
Hopefully that should correct the problems you're experiencing.

I've gotten this!!! I needed to find a NOCD check fixed "hitman.exe" in
order to get it to work. Bummer!
