Hit Counter for different website

We have two separate websites: one intranet and one
internet.

Management needs to be able to see how many hits our
internet is getting, but they would like to be able to
view this information from a page on the intranet.

How can I accomplish this?

Not possible, with the standard FP hit counter.
as the count for the "internet"
web site is maintained in "pagename".htm.cnt files
( "pagename" being the actual name of the page with the counter )
located in the _private folder of the "internet" site.
You can't access these files from an outside source.
