HISTORY quit working

My HISTORY function stopped working. After going to several sites, I select
History and there is nothing listed. (My Options are set for 5 days). The
only thing I have done recently is change my home page. Any help will be
appreciated. Thanks, Mike

It could be that your History folder has become damaged or corrupted.
Delete it from another user account with admin. privileges and reboot. More

Thank you for the reply Jon. I tried to delete the History folder by
starting Windows with an Admin Account but it would not let me get into the
folder where History is located. I got as for as: C:\Documents and
Settings\myusername\, but when I selected "My Username", I got a message that
I was not allowed to access that account.

My Account is an Admin Account and I use a password to get into it. Does
that have any effect on being able to access it? I tried changing the
account to a non-admin account and tried to access the folder again but still
got the same message about not allowed access to that folder. Do I need to
change my acount to a non-admin account, reboot, then start windows in with
the Admin Account and delete the History folder that way? Is there some
other workaround? Thanks

One thing I can think of right now - log on to the problem account, go to
C:\Documents and Settings, right click on the username folder you cannot
access, click on the Sharing tab, and make sure there's not a checkmark by
"Make this folder private".
