Hiding Sidebar in HTML Presentation

Is there a way to keep the sidebar (on the left) from showing on an html
presentation? If I slide it closed or close it by clicking on the "x" before
saving a document to .html, it still shows up in the browser.

File/Save as Webpage. Click the Publish button. Click the Web Options
button. Deselect "Add slide navigation controls."

This removes all navigation, though, so be sure you've added navigation
buttons on the slides themselves if you do this.
