Hiding info boxes on taskbar

I have a new installation of windows XP home on my new
computer and i am having an intermitent problem.
Sometimes the little yellow pop up information boxes that
come up when you place the cursor over and icon in the
taskbar come up behind the taskbar. For example when you
place the cursor over the time in the taskbar normally
the little yellow box comes up over the taskbar with the
date in the yellow box. But sometimes the yellow box
comes up behind the taskbar so you can't see or read the
date in the yellow box.
If I reboot the system then the yellow boxes are ok for a
time but after a while they start to come up behind the
taskbar.
Can anybody give me any idea on how to fix this ?

A widely reported bug, with no _permanent_ fix that I have seen. Try to
ignore it.
