Hide the horizontal scroll bar of a subform

Hello:
I have a changed to properties of a subform so that only the vertical scroll
bar are displayed. When I open the subform by itself, only the vertical bar
is displayed. When I open the main form that contains the subform the bars
re-appear. How can I stop the horizontal bars from being displayed?

You need to resize the subform so it is not larger than the window of the
main form you put it in. Reduce the field (colum) widths so that they all
fit within the alloted horizontal space.
