hibernation enabling

whenever i try to enable hibernation by checkinng the one check box, i hit
apply or ok and it pops a error up which says
"The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another
process."

does anyone know what this means?

i tried ending all the processes that arent part of windows, and it didnt
work.
what could it be???????

Create a new user account and try from here. If this works, either
something that runs in the background when you are logged on with your
original profile, causes the problem or the profile is defective. To
correct the latter issue, copy your user profile to the new user and
delete the old profile.
