hibernate

i jsut got a new dell laptop, and when even i close it
it goes into hibernate mode... is there any way to change
this????

Did you try looking in "Help and Support" off of the Start Menu? Type
in "hibernate" in the "Set Search Options" box. In a nutshell, look
at Power Options in Control Panel.

microsoft.public.win2000.cmdprompt.admin is mainly for Command-Line
(as in DOS prompt) tools.
