hibernate or stand by

i seem to have lost the hibernate and stand by options off my laptop, im
confused as i had them here yesterday, i only have the option to restart or
shut down, i dont want to keep restarting and shutting down and this has
already proven a problem to me, i would be greatful if somebody could help me
out.

Hi Steve,
If you have XP try to restore to Yesterday and reboot,you should go to the
Early Setting of the OS.
