Hi i created an email account on Yahoo that I gave to no one. So no one

knew about it. First off I thought yahoo was completely
anonymous,secure and private. I dont even have a profile on that
account. Apparently, my ex knows a lot about computers because he sent
me a harrassing an email there.
Id like to know how he got that email address if I never told him or
anyone my email address. How can I setup a completey private anonymous
address that he won't be able to track me? Also, he lives in CA and I
don't live there so there's no way he got it from hoppin on my
computer. Only thing i can think of is IP address giving me away or
keylogger remote access from his place in CA or spyware? How can I
prevent this from happening, because i feel like he might know more
than just my email but other things, or even monitoring everything. I
already setup PC tools software-spyware doctor, registry mechanic and
privacy guardian.is this good software and good enough prevention?
i ran it and it found sniperspy, is he accesssing me thry that? or
better yet how can I get back at him? Id like to access his info and
make his life hell. could someone explain to me what happen?

You should forget about trying to get back at your ex and get on with
your life. If you think your computer has been compromised by your ex,
then I suggest you call in a professional and have he or her look at
your computer.

If you don't want to do that, then wipe the machine out format it and
reinstall everything. Whatever was there will be gone for sure.

He just knows your intimate details and by a process of elimination can find
you out.

That's pretty hard as if you email one of your "friends" your new email
address they mighrt be more "friendly" to your ex.

By the way, don't contemplate murder or we will be seeing you star on a CSI

Unless he put it on your system before he left?
But the IP address won't give out your email adress except for the ability
to read headers of posts to newsgroups.

Maybe you could buy an inexpensive system and sign up with a new ISP (they
are as plentiful as Vegas hookers) and use that for a while to communicate
with "friends".

By the way, I would set up multiple email addresses and document which
"friend" you gave it to then you would see who your "true friends" are.

gmail is about as secure as the two towers prior to 9/11 (I HATE to use that
analogy but it fits)

Most countries have two or more political parties and every one of them has
different advisors and still mucks up as situations change rapidly and they
have the inability to keep up.
With the rapid deployment of the Intenet the governments will come under
increased presure to keep up.
The governments are using pedal bicycles or ox carts and the rest of the
world has discovered the Model T!

I am not sure if you are aware of the Canadian Parliament's latest debate on
wether Canada should be involved over in the East but it raged on and on and
on (Is there a 12 step program for those that are afflicted with the Anon
and Anon and Anon addiction?) for three or more days and the media had
nothing else to talk about. Well except for the hockey scores.

All these HIGH priced lawyers sucking back all Canadian funded expense paid
discussions (vacations) because they did not want to discuss higher priority
items such as daycare to help improve Canada's productive by permitting
women to contribute to Canada's bottom line.
