Yes, what you did was just right.

We're getting to the point where I forget what we've done to date. This looks
like a good symptom to work from:
C:\Documents and Settings\Mullay&Mullaly>ping mullaly1

What is that "::1:? Did we install IPV6 on Mulally1? Did you un install the
Ethernet connection there?

Time to look at IPConfig on Mulally1 again.
