Help with publish problems solicited

Updated to a domain hosting account (earthlink) with server extensions from
a
standard account without extensions.

Went reasonably well except Publishing is only partially successful.

1. Get "Server error cannot create _vti_cnf folder" message.
2. Photogallery no longer works.
3. Publish ignores "changed pages only" selection for publishing, doesn't
matter if "time stamp"
or "comparing source and destination webs" is selected. I have to
manually select
publish or not publish for each file.

FP 2002 on XP.

The 1st time you publish using http to a site w/ the SE you need to Publish All using File Publish and the URL as say
http://www.yourdomain.com/
