Hi,

I have a control text box with it's BackStyle set to Transparent. I am using background graphics in the slide show, so it would be nice to see those graphics behind the text. But when I run the slide show, the background of the text box becomes opaque! It shows whatever the BackColor property of the box is... and since I can't set BackColor to "transparent", my slide background doesn't show through - so I have an ugly looking text box!

When I go back to edit mode, the textbox shows as though it were transparent, and I can see the slide background through it. Is there a way to maintain transparency during the slide show as well?

(OR if there is another way to insert a long article of text into a powerpoint presentation, and include a scrollbar so that the user can navigate through it, that would be cool too!)

Also, I need to highlight/bold certain lines of text WITHIN the control text box. I am having difficulties trying to do this, since it seems that you can only apply font settings to all the text within the text box. I need to be able to bold a paragraph or two from an article of text within the control text box. can this be done??
