Help with certificate of authenticity

I have lost my certificate of authenticity. I need to
format my hard drive and reinstall windows. I have the
product identification number but not the certificate. Is
there a place i can retrieve my authentication number?

If XP is still installed and workable, you can use one of the following
tools to retrieve the Product Key.
