Help with AVG anti virus

AVG anti virus free edition

I use a key logger on my PC as a safeguard that allows me to backtrack my
actions, I am older but not wiser and forever causing problems on my PC as I
am always digging deeper into areas I should really leave alone.
Any how the problem is that AVG is knocking out my keylogger where
previously it didnt (I have used both for a couple of years now)

Anyone know a way around this.
thanks

You may be asking for trouble leaving a keylogger on your system in this
day and age. If you can't give up this habit, I think you'll just have to
go to the AVG Virus Vault and restore your keylogger file(s) after each time
AVG quarantines it. Perhaps the paid version of AVG has a way for you to
set up an "ignore" for certain files, but I could not find that feature in
the free one.

Or you could break your drive into two partitions, putting the keylogger
by itself on the other partition. Of course that would make it real easy
for a hacker to find if one did get in :)

This reminds me of the Sprint ad where the boss says, "It's my way of
stickin' it to the man" to which the subordinate replies, "but you are
the man, so... you're stickin' it to yourself?"
