Mr. Solomon,
thanks for your comments, but this does not solve the problem. The problem involves javascript, this is to say, i could not even post a reply to your solution, as when i clicked reply, i noticed in the lower left hand screen javascript: and something written; i am thinking there may be a problem w/ my javascript function,w ahtever that is, i tried restoring internet explorer but am unable to locate it on my disks, i have windows xp, i uninstalled the mouse driver, but it just reinstalled it automatically, teh same thing, xp made this system so internet explorer cannot be uninstalled which is ridiculous, my mouse is compatible, ive already ran that test, i mean the driver came with the computer, and it is not updatable, the mouse simply does not work for some reason in internet explorer, what do you recommend? I wont be able to reply to ur post, so i will have to post a new response after you post one.

Ah, then it is a coding issue and it should be easily resolved.

Go to the following website to check if you have Java installed on your
system, if not, go to www.java.com and download and install the latest
version.
