I have a porn pop-up that has gotten onto my machine that
comes up occasionally no matter which web sites I am
going too. I not sure how it got on my machine but I
dont know how to get ride of it. I tried uninstalling IE
6.0 and re installing. That didnt work, the pop up is
still there. I have stopped script running on my machine
slao and that reduced to number of times this pop up
shows up but it didnt get ride of it. The pop up shows
up as a box saying "click here for fresh teens" with an
ok button. It also makes my machine make a weird sound
when I accsess web sites.

Please help.

Reinstalling Internet Explorer has nothing to do with the pop-ups.

I had the same thing and here is a partial description of
my fix. It worked on one machine, but not totally on the
second--

Over the past month or so I have been plagued by external
marketers invading my machine popping up ads and adding a
toolbar to the Internet Explorer page. I first tried
increasing the security level on the machine and then
attempting to block out the sites that popped up. Neither
of these approaches worked very well. In the second phase
of my response I was successful in blocking out the ads
with one of the free spam blockers (ADAWARE) and on one
my machines this utility took care of all issues.
However, on a second machine the same utility did not fix
the unwanted toolbar. The symptoms in this case was the
phantom trigger mechanism resets the default home page
and resets the toolbar every time IE is invoked.
