I get the following message when opening a shared Excel file on our net app
filer (network drive).
"The file is locked. To save the changes to the file, you can either close
the file before making and changes and open it again, use the Save As command
to save the file with another file name, or turn off Shared Workbooks and
save the file."
I have no idea how this happens and when i save it as a new name, or copy
the tabs into a new workbook and save it things work fine for about a week
and then I start getting this same error again.
Doe anyone know how to fix this or why it happens at least?
Thank you,
Mike
